Thanks man, but I'll probably cave and buy one as soon as NG2 is released here. If the game is as good as the first it'll keep me busy for quite some time so it's not a terrible investment :P

I finished the first episode.

This is something, a masterpiece! PERFECT! PERFECT! PERFECT!. Combat is now faster and there's a lot more enemies on screen at once. No puzzles, only powerful action. The trunks are hidden, but they are not too hard to find. The level design is very logical. Enemies are very fast as well as Ryo. The first episode has the dragon sword and the stave. Combos are very convenient, plus blocking has been improved and is now more responsive. The game loads once and there's no more loading throughout the level.

The location (Tokyo city Skyscrapers) is huge. There is no menu. The changing of weapons is done by the d-pad. In approximately the hour of gameplay from the first episode, the gameplay was as a maniacal battle for survival. It was mangnificent. I obtained natural play orgasm from gameplay. Elegant, superb! Masterpiece!

I am sort of worried about this, because the game might be easier then the original which isn't a bad thing for most gamers but I rather have it hard. Hopefully the amount of potions during the run is harder to access meaning more traps inside treasure instead potions.:P

is it me or are peoples opinion of this game been changing lately? before all you would hear is that the graphics suk and sygma looks better. now it seems that most people only have mostly positive comments. the graphics look a hell of a lot better now then when they first showed it and the gameplay looks absolutely sick. amazing what can happen in the few months b4 a games release. june 3 is so close yet so far away.

No. When you hit the D-Pad to switch weapons, the game pauses. This is not DMC. And it's not about juggling enemies and switching weapons while they are in the air and continuing a combo. It's a different kind of a game. A better kind of game at that.

Funny thing is.. I played through DMC4 twice and I rarely switched weapons on the fly... Infact I stuck mostly with their swords.. Anywho... This game will be reserved very shortly...

Na, actually I doubt a button mashing crappy camera angle game with graphics no better than PS3's Sigma with some extra gore and improved difficulty can get a 9.0 or above when Mass Effect didn't...

i find it funny how that a-hole Itagaki said Sigma was crap, but decided to use the dual swords from Sigma. God i hate that guy.GUNpoint_

I don't get what his deal is with hating Sony. That's probably the main reason he doesn't like Sigma, it's on PS3.
